LEAD-Safe Certified

Bella Cosa Construction, Inc (BCI) is a Lead Safe certified firm, certification #NAT-32383-1 and can conduct lead-based paint renovation, repair, and painting (RRP) activities only for the purposes of Section 402 of TSCA pursuant to the standards found at 40 CFR Part 745.89, Subpart E. Current Lead Safe codes require all pre-1978 homes and residential units to be tested for lead in painted surfaces whether exterior or interior in areas where minor repair or maintenance work is specified. Minimum surface area that does not require testing is less than 36 square feet (HUD requirements are less than 24 square feet) for any one interior surface and fewer than 20 square feet for any one exterior surface or space.
